Three thieves at Westfield Montgomery mall on Tuesday apparently didn’t make the best choice in stolen product.

According to scanner traffic, three black male suspects stole numerous Samsung and iPhone demo models from the Best Buy Mobile store on the second floor of the mall. None of the phones actually work.

A police spokesperson could only confirm there was a theft at the store. The full police report wasn’t available.

But according to a lookout a little after 4 p.m. Tuesday, the three subjects were last seen going to the first level of the mall.

The value of the stolen demo phones was reportedly less than $1,000.
