Former D.C. mayor Barry in hospital

WASHINGTON – D.C. Council Member Marion Barry has returned to the hospital Tuesday night.

The former mayor tweeted late Tuesday night that he was hospitalized with a urinary tract infection.

Barry – who is 77 – spent 16 days in the hospital last month with a blood infection. He has had a string of health problems over the years, including diabetes, prostate cancer and a kidney transplant.
