WASHINGTON – One person has died and a pregnant woman is trapped after a serious crash on Route 50 in Loudoun County.

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s office says a car travelling westbound crossed into the other lane and hit a car carrying six people.

The incident happened just after 2:30 p.m. on Route 50 and Snickersvilles Turnpike.

Multiple Medevac helicopters are on their way to the crash.
