The first annual UMTTR (“you matter”) 3 vs 3 Basketball Tournament was held September 15th in Memory of teen suicide Evan Rosenstock of Potomac. He was not bullied but the 16 year old Churchill HS sophomore star athlete suffered depression triggered by a sports injury. He killed himself in May. Proceeds from UMTTR will support forming the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the Positive Coaching Alliance and to Support Research on Teen Depression and Suicide Prevention.
