Man injured during Frederick home invasion

WASHINGTON – A home invasion that sent a man to the hospital is under investigation in Frederick, Md., and police are asking for the public’s help in solving the crime.

Police say it happened early Thursday in the unit block of West 4th Street.

The man told police he was assaulted and items were taken from his home.

He was taken to Meritus Medical Center’s trauma center in Hagerstown for non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
