D.C. police seek suspect who shot boy in back

WASHINGTON – A boy was shot in the back in Northeast D.C. early Friday morning, according to officials.

He was shot in the 700 block of 24th Street Northeast at about 12:30 a.m. Emergency crews transported the boy to an area hospital, where he is expected to make a full recovery, according to D.C. police.

Officials are searching for a suspect, but do not have a description at this time.
