Boy dies after fall from vehicle at Annapolis parade

WASHINGTON – A 7-year-old boy died after he fell from a vehicle prior to a Fourth of July parade in Annapolis, according to a Capital Gazette story.

The boy fell from a vehicle on Amos Garrett Boulevard at about 7 p.m. Thursday while it was waiting to join the parade route, the Capital Gazette reported.

Emergency crews transported the boy, whose name has not been released, to Anne Arundel Medical Center, where he later died.

Annapolis officials are investigating the incident and have not released any additional details at this time.
