WASHINGTON – Sports anchor Bob Costas caught viewers by surprise on the MLB Network Tuesday when he began rapping a song by Ludacris.

The rapper’s lyrics from the song “Hip Hop Quotables” name the 61-year-old sports broadcaster. Off-the-cuff, Costas decided to half-rap, half-speak them during a live interview on national television, while making the point he’d made it big by being named in the song.
