D.C. woman: Fired for selling Girl Scout cookies at work

WASHINGTON — A single mother in D.C. is searching for work after she was laid off from her job of nearly 30 years.

Tracy Lewis, 48, says she was let go for unfair reasons: selling Girl Scout cookies.

“They didn’t give me any warning. They gave me a letter of termination,” says Lewis.
