Georgetown intersection to temporarily close Sunday night

WASHINGTON – The intersection of Wisconsin Avenue NW and M Street NW will be closed late Sunday night into early Monday morning for the installation of holiday decorations.

The District Department of Transportation says the intersection will be closed at 11 p.m. Friday and reopen at 4 a.m. Monday morning.

Marked detours will be set up. The work may also temporarily close the sidewalks in the intersection.

The D.C. Circulator service will also be affected by the work. The Dupont Circle – Georgetown – Rosslyn route will end service at 11 p.m. on Sunday. The Georgetown – Union Station route will turn around at Washington Circle for the last hour of service Sunday night.
