Holiday gifts for wine lovers

WASHINGTON – If you have a wine lover on your holiday gift list, Washington Examiner wine columnist Scott Greenberg has you covered.

From hostess gifts to stocking stuffers, Greenberg recommends a few items that fit a range of budgets and tastes.

  • “Power Entertaining” by Eddie Osterland, around $20. “This book provides tips and advice for incorporating wine and food events into your business plan,” says Greenberg, who explains that the book shows readers how to turn passion into profit.
  • The SKIL iXO Vivo Power Corkscrew, around $60. According to Greenberg, this gadget is the hybrid of a corkscrew and power drill. It takes cork out of the bottle in 10 seconds.
  • Wine satchels from First World Trash, around $120. These unique and artsy six-bottle satchels are made from recycled materials like car seat straps, tires and billboard canvas.
