Takoma Park police change plans for Taser demonstration

WASHINGTON – Tacoma Park Police are backing off plans to hold a Taser demonstration Friday night.

The department tells WTOP they will still hold a scheduled informational session about the weapons Friday at the Takoma Park Community Center, but it will be without the demonstration.

The department originally said volunteers in the 25-person class would have the chance to experience a shock.
