Washington Design Center searching for new home

Washington Design Center vendors, which are the current occupants at 300 D St. SW, are scrambling to find a new home after the building was sold in July for $50 million, the first step toward turning the property into a Bible museum, The Washington Post reported.

Weeks before the sale closed, rumors began to float through the showrooms of the building’s 33 design tenants that the museum was coming, launching the process of looking for a new home.
