Metrobus accident leaves woman with minor injuries

WASHINGTON – A woman has been taken to the hospital with minor injuries after being hit by a bus Monday evening.

Metro tells WTOP that around 7:30 p.m. a Metrobus driver made a left from Wisconsin Avenue onto Jennifer Street to return the bus for the evening when the woman was struck.

D.C. Fire and EMS said the woman, who hasn’t been identified, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries — mostly cuts and bruises to the knees.
