WASHINGTON – As it turns out, it is mathematically possible to cut a bagel into two linked pieces without breaking either half.

WTOP has the video to prove it.

A recent story from Buzzfeed demonstrates the technique, complete with instructions on how to toast it and the possibility of more surface area for cream cheese.

Buzzfeed does point out people may feel less cool eating their regular bagels next to those with the cool new bagel shape. Friendships may suffer.
