WASHINGTON – A woman was stabbed on a Metro bus Sunday afternoon.

A Metro spokesman says two women got into a fight on an A-8 bus to Anacostia Station. One stabbed the other when the bus was at 6th and Chesapeake streets Southeast.

The suspect fled the bus following the stabbing.

The victim was taken to the hospital. There is no word on her condition.

Police are looking for an 18-year-old woman in connection with the stabbing.

There may have been other passengers on the bus at the time of the stabbing and the bus does have cameras.
