WASHINGTON – A Maryland toddler is in critical condition after nearly drowning in the bathtub at her home in Laurel.

Dispatchers at the 911 call center gave the girl’s family CPR instructions as firefighters and emergency medical technicians were en route to the home.

Laurel Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
