WASHINGTON – Traffic near Arlington National Cemetery was blocked for hours Thursday after a car chase ended at Memorial Bridge.

Two suspects accused of attempting to rob a store in Tysons Corner are in police custody, Channel 7 reports.

One suspect was arrested around 2:45 p.m. near the scene of the attempted robbery, while another one was apprehended at the cemetery by Fairfax County police.

The chase ended with a five-car wreck at Memorial Circle. Six people were treated for injuries, though the extent of injuries is not known, ARLnow.com reports.

Fire trucks and medic units blocked access to Memorial Bridge from Virginia, and cars driving in-bound on Washington Boulevard were diverted to Route 50 towards Rosslyn.
