Track drivers with new OnStar device

WASHINGTON – A new service that allows the car’s owner to keep tabs on the driver in real time.

The service is called Family Link and it works through the OnStar network. Users can track the movement and location of any car in real time.

Just go online and see where the vehicle is heading. And the driver is speeding — or your daughter is not driving to her girlfriend’s house like she said — Family Link will send you a text or an email.

It will be rolled out with limited access in April, and full scale later in the year.
