‘Mad Men’ premiere parties around town

WASHINGTON – Many fans have been waiting a long time for the return of “Mad Men” and now that it’s back Sunday for a new season, there are lots of local viewing parties.

Bourbon Steak has one of the ritzier affairs complete with cocktails, dinner and a prize for best dressed in ’60s fashion. The soiree costs $75.

Lounge 201 in Northeast D.C. has a costume contest, too, along with show trivia and a chance to watch the final episodes of season four for those who need to catch up. Tickets are $10 to $30.

If you’re looking for free events, Arlington Cinema and Drafthouse is having is also jumping on the costume party bandwagon. They will offer with cocktails for the two-hour premiere.

If you want to throw your own party at home but need some help with the cocktails, check out a mixology class Sunday at 5:30 p.m. at Last Exit. They will cover the ins and outs of what makes a “Mad Men” drink.

“Mad Men” premieres Sunday 9 p.m. EST.
