VDOT: Expect closures and delays Wednesday night

WASHINGTON – The following closures will occur Wednesday between 9:30 p.m. and 5 a.m.

495 Express Lanes Project

Four left lanes of Dulles Connector Rd. (Route 267) west at I-495 will close for overhead sign work. Expect intermittent full road closures of up to 30 minutes after midnight.
Right lane of I-495 south at Exit 46, Chain Bridge Rd. (Route 123) will close for ramp shift.
Two right lanes of I-66 east from Exit 62, Nutley St. to Gallows Rd. overpass will close for overhead sign work.
Three left lanes of I-495 north from Wakefield Park pedestrian bridge to Exit 52, Little River Tpk. (Route 236) will close for joint repair.
Dulles International Airport Access Hwy. east at I-495 will close for bridge work. Traffic will be directed to the Dulles Connector Rd. (Route 267) east.
I-495 west/north (Inner Loop) to at Exit 170, I-395 will close for bridge demolition. Traffic will be directed to take Exit 170B, I-395 north to Exit 2B, Edsall Rd. (Route 648) west, stay to the right, follow signs to I-395 south and take Exit 1D, I-495 north (Inner Loop) toward Tysons Corner.
Ramp from I-495 south to Exit 46B, Chain Bridge Rd. (Route 123) north will close for ramp shift. Traffic will be directed to continue south to Exit 47B, Leesburg Pike (Route 7) east, stay to the right, follow signs to I-495 north and take Exit 46B, Chain Bridge Rd. (Route 123) north.

Dulles Rail Project

Right lane of Dolley Madison Blvd. (Route 123) south from Scotts Crossing Rd. to Capital One Dr. will close for bridge work.
Left turn lane of Dolley Madison Blvd. (Route 123) north at Capital One Dr. will close for bridge work.
