WASHINGTON – Amid accusations of flip-flopping from his fellow Republican presidential candidates on issues like socialized healthcare, a question rises to the surface for the GOP frontrunner: Will the real Mitt Romney please stand up?
We’ll see if this video makes any difference.
A new mash-up has emerged from YouTube channel “The Margins of Error” about the former governor of Utah, stringing together clips from his public appearances over the tune of rapper Eminem’s inaugural song “The Real Slim Shady.”
The video begins immediately with jabs at Romney, focusing on infamous remarks he says are taken out of context: “You act like you haven’t seen a Mormon before, George, down on the floor, I’m not concerned about the very poor. I got it wrong, sorry, that’s not what I meant, I want every American to be in the top 1 percent.”
It goes on to mention other disputed comments about enjoying the ability to fire people, putting his dog on the roof of his car, and singing “America the Beautiful” live at a rally.
Check out the full video, including the line that leads into the chorus, “Every Mormon raise your underwear, sing the chorus, Papa Bear.”
