Wizards trade McGee, Young for Nene, Cook

WASHINGTON – The Nuggets are sending Nene Hilario to the Wizards in a three-team deal, with Washington sending JaVale McGee and Ronny Turiaf to Denver and Nick Young to the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Clippers agreed to send Brian Cook and a future second-round pick to the Wizards.

The trade is a reversal for the Nuggets who recently committed to five years and $67 million to keep Nene in December. The move does create a salary cap relief for the team as McGee comes to Denver as a restricted free agent next season.
