Frederick man convicted of sexually abusing two children

County jury found a 52-year-old man guilty of three counts of felony sex abuse of two children he helped to care for, the State’s Attorney’s office said in a news release today.

Kenneth Mark Freeman of Frederick faces up to 75 years in jail when he is sentenced June 5. He was found guilty of sexually abusing two children over the course of about four years. A Frederick County jury returned the verdict after a day of deliberation following a four day trial.

A third child was also identified, but Freeman was found not guilty of abusing the child.
