Pedestrian struck by Ride-On bus in Silver Spring

WASHINGTON – A 28-year-old pedestrian is suffering from traumatic injuries after she was hit by a Ride-On bus in Silver Spring Tuesday evening, according to Montgomery County Police.

Police responded to the scene at East-West Highway and Grubb Road around 7:15 p.m. It is still unclear how the woman was hit by the bus.

She was transported to a hospital with serious injuries to her legs. She is listed in serious but not life-threatening condition.
