March for Babies

marchforbabies.jpg

March for Babies, the nation’s oldest walking event and the March of Dimes’ largest fundraiser, will be held May 6 at Reston Town Center and May 12 at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C.

The event helps fund lifesaving research and educational programs aimed at preventing premature births and helping moms have healthy babies. Local programs that benefit from March for Babies include the Mama & Baby Bus in Washington, D.C., and NICU Family Support projects at Children’s National Medical Center, Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children, Georgetown University Hospital and Inova Loudoun Hospital.

In addition, March for Babies will be held in five additional locations in Suburban Maryland and Northern Virginia.

Sign up today for March for Babies and make a difference in the lives of millions of babies. WTOP, Dixon Hughes Goodman and United Healthcare are proud sponsors of March for Babies. For a complete list of walk locations and dates, please click here.
