Wounded warrior app keeps Marines connected

WASHINGTON – There are apps for just about everything, and now there’s one to help wounded warriors.

Android, iPhone and iPad versions of the United States Marine Corps Wounded Warrior Regiment app delivers up-to-the minute news and information for Marines and their families, including information for caregivers.

“Many of our caregivers are bedside with their wounded or ill Marine,” reads the news release. “Not all of these caregivers have consistent access to a computer, but many have smartphones.”

In addition to being able to view the latest photos, stories and videos, the app also provides instant access to the Wounded Warriors Regiment and all the services and support associated with the organization.
