WASHINGTON – What would you do to be the first to purchase the hottest new supercar? Bribe the first recipient with a munchkin? An urban zipwire network? A Soup Nazi?
Jerry Seinfeld wants the 2013 Acura NSX, and he wants it bad.
Just days before the Super Bowl Christmas of television commercials, the Japanese luxury automaker has leaked a 2-minute bit, with distinct cameos from the comedian’s long-running show.
Check out his attempts to secure the first one off the lot:
The NSX generated a great deal of buzz at the Detroit auto show earlier this month. Within three years, a vehicle based on the concept will be in global production, said Takanobu, president of parent company Honda Motor Co. It will be developed by Honda R&D Americas and built in Ohio, he said, as Acura works to make the U.S. a hub for Acura worldwide.
“NSX will make the driver one with the car,” he said.
