A new wine store will open soon at 1133 20th St. NW. The store, owned by Pravin Kotadia, is called The Wine Specialist. It is about 2,000 square feet in size.

The store will carry wine, beer, liquor and some specialty products, such as high-end Scotch, according to Kotadia. He hopes to open the store sometime next week.
