How important is your morning java?

WASHINGTON – How much do you spend on coffee? A new survey finds many people spend quite a bit.

Accounting Principals reports half of Americans regularly buy coffee during the week, and those people spend an average of $1,092 a year.

Workers who spend the most on coffee are between 18 and 24. They’re spending almost $25 a week, compared with $14 for people over 45.

Men in the survey spent more on coffee than women.
