WASHINGTON – Rep. Gabrielle Giffords plans to resign.
The Democrat from Arizona who was the target of an assassination attempt talked about her decision in a YouTube video.
Arizona must now hold a special election to find someone to finish her term.
Six people were killed and another 12 wounded in the Tucson attack.
