8 year old makes her death metal debut

WASHINGTON – An 8-year-old girl made her death metal debut on Thursday to wild success.

The kid, Juliet, appeared in a YouTube clip that racked in more than 4 million views on its first day.

The black and white clip, called “My First Hardcore Song,” posted by user thetinaxo, features the young girl sing-screaming lyrics about liking her dog and her fishes while jumping on a trampoline and headbanging. At times, she screams, and in other shots she looks seriously toward the camera, looking ‘hard core.’

For those who really like Juliet, T-shirts emblazoned with her image are for sale in a link below her clip on YouTube, as well as news that her song will soon be available on iTunes.

Since her debut, Juliet has gained some fans. In the comment thread below the clip, one user says, “I hope my kid is as awesome as this.”

Another user writes, “I want a daughter like her, too.”
