WASHINGTON – WTOP’s “Price at the Pump” survey shows not a whole lot of extra pain or relief.

The average price of a gallon of regular is $3.46 and has stayed steady since last week.

Mid-grade and premium dropped a penny to $3.63 and $3.76, respectively. But diesel fuel is up by 3 cents to $3.98 a gallon.

The average for regular gas this week is cheapest in the Maryland area, at $3.39, compared to Virginia at $3.42, and the District average at $3.57.
